About Amy

Unlocking your student's full potential is the core of my teaching philosophy. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed langage arts and teading teacher, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I help students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that serve them long-term. When concepts become challenging, I connect topics to personal interests and break complex problems into more manageable steps. I believe clear, collaborative communication is essential for tracking progress and setting expectations. Ultimately, I find the greatest reward in watching a student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I look forward to building a supportive partnership with your family to help your student thrive.
