About Amy

Hello! I am a mom living in Oak Park with shared custody of two beautiful daughters, age 10 & 11. My 11-year-old daughter is high on the autism spectrum so I have a lot of experience with special needs children. I am calm, compassionate, and empathetic. I do my best to use reason and redirection. I set boundaries but love to play, and read, and learn when appropriate. I try to get all of the children involved in the task or game at hand, even if it is in different roles. I am very clean and multitask very well. I am extremely adaptable and try to model my babysitting style the rules and values of each household. I enjoy the possibility of working with your family.
