About Amy

Hello, my name is Amy. I am 50 years old. I just moved up to Weaverville about a year ago. I am a proud mom of a firefighter. I've been in childcare since I was 16. I first started working at the summer camp that I went to when I was a kid. with Then after that I did substitute teaching, babysitting. Working for daycares as you have to keep up certain certification, so I've taken classes in childcare as well. I watched my best friend's daughter for three years until she was ready to walk and go to school. I was assistant Director for boys and girls club. Before I moved up here worked at a Montessori school for four years as a teachers assistant, and I am now looking for a nanny position full-time or part-time I have a car so I'll be able to have my owntransportation. I enjoy doing outside activities as well as indoor. I love art. Hoping that I can start something soon. Kids are the most honest loving and have the best imagination and why would you not want to work with children?
