About Amy

Having raised three now adult sons, caring for and supporting children has been a lifelong thread in my life. My experience began in 4H youth programs early in my career and continued through raising my sons and providing childcare over the years for select neighbors and friends. As my boys got older, I volunteered in schools working one on one with students in reading and math. I later worked in MMO and returned to full time work in schools, providing front office support and serving as a substitute teacher. I have a calm, caring nature and truly enjoy connecting with children. Caring for and supporting others has always been a meaningful part of who I am. I'm looking to establish relationships with a small number of families seeking trusted, occasional childcare during the week as needed. A little more about me: I enjoy being in nature and by the water, swimming, cooking for family, walking with my dogs, and working on home projects with my husband.
