About Amy

My name is Amy. After retiring from homeschooling, I became an Educational Therapist with the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD). Educational Therapy develops students' thinking to help them become competent and confident learners. I also have 20 years of experience in tutoring struggling learners who are on the verge of giving up hope. It is very satisfying to help students understand how they learn. Sometimes it just takes time to grasp the concepts. I enjoy supporting students in their quest to understand. I also want to provide hope that where they are now does not dictate the future. I love guiding learners to reach their potential when nothing else seems to work! I would be honored to meet with you to see if I would be a good fit for your student. I have a home office in Elizabeth, but would be happy to meet you in Parker or Castle Rock. I am available every evening except for Monday and every afternoon except for Thursday.
