About Amy

I am currently a college graduate working on furthering my education. I have encountered many wonderful opportunities to care for children throughout my life. I began my childcare journey with family then expanded towards friends and really anyone who asked. During high school, I mentored children from ages 5 through 10, three hours a week, for a whole school year. There I guided and tutored a specific child who has any troubles during school such as behavior, academic, or social difficulties. Over the past years I have made changes in children' s life by giving them extra help to achieve their goals in school. With the help of care. com, I have had the greatest opportunities caring for children ages 6 months to 11 years. I frequently watch toddlers, but am open to any age! The outdoors, arts and crafts, sports, and baking are just a few things I really enjoy doing. I plan on becoming a nurse and working in the pediatric department in the near future.
