It is the quality of life your loved one leads that is most important to me. I genuinely love being an elderly companion, and bringing joy to their time left with us. With 5 years intensive care experience, I am confident and qualified to manage emergencies if they come along. My last few jobs have been for hospice patients. I will, and I am happy to care for any elderly, male or female, at any stage of their life. I do most anything around the house, errands, gardening, taking them to appointments, helping with personal care, medical treatments, house safety evaluating, & I really enjoy cooking. I watched for almost 4 years  as Amy R. M. cared for my best friend.

Amy is fantastic. She took consistently the best care of my sister and our family. She provided my sister friendship and was attentive to my sister’s needs. She took over organizing all the shifts for caregivers, she accompanied my mom to medical visits, she kept meticulous records of her medications. She jumped in whenever we needed help whether it be finding a piece of medical equipment or finding a specialist that might aid my mom in some way. She helped my mom pick out clothes, she shopped for all the gifts that my mom needed for her family. She helped my mom bathe, hair/makeup- trying to help her feel good. She found a way every day to make my mom's quality of life just that much better. Getting her out of the house for fresh air, exercise, lunch whatever it may be. She truly become one of the family. The next family to have her is truly lucky.

Amy is wonderful. She is thoroughly competent and a lovely person. Her care was genuine, in no way mechanical. She made it personal. She was with us for almost three years and we have been privileged to have her become one of our family. I recommend her without hesitation or reservation.

I'm not sure how to explain just how thorough and caring Amy is! I have watched Amy with 2 clients...they aren't clients at all...they are family! She goes all out to make them feel special...as they truly are to her.

We hired Amy from afar to spend time with our mother who was in need of companionship and oversight while in independent living. Amy worked hard to develop a special relationship with my mother.  She is very kind and compassionate, has a wonderful attitude, remains calm during crisis, is willing to do just about anything to contribute and always presents herself with professionalism and enthusiasm. We have great affection for Amy and grateful for the many hours she spent with and caring for our mom until she passed away.  Amy is an excellent caregiver and/or companion. 

We had the good fortune to find Amy on Care.com in late July of 2014. We needed a caregiver for my wife who was terminal with lung cancer.
Amy was the primary caregiver for over eleven months. She arranged and scheduled the two other caregivers we had, Amy also helped with supplies we needed and either cooked my wives meals or assisted the other caregivers.
