About Amy

Hello, my name is Amy! I've been working with children since my high school child development class, where I gained experience through the preschool there. Since then, I've volunteered, babysat, and worked as a daycare and preschool teacher. I graduated with a degree in human development and have completed Theoria ECE classes. I have a passion for learning about children and the best ways to care for them! I am patient and calm, as well as imaginative and energetic. I love playing with, teaching, and caring for children and infants! I believe in learning through play; I don't mind cleaning up and I can make clean up time enjoyable. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and following the schedule, while keeping a fun and engaging environment. I believe consistency and structure are important for children.
