About Amy

I have been working in childcare for 4 years and have grown a love for teaching and caring for children. Of that time, I have been an Infant Teacher for a year! My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to be apart of, while teaching them the skills they need to grow and thrive! I have a lot of patience to give. I love sitting down with a child and aiding them in calming down so I can help them with what they need or are feeling. Sometimes all a kiddo needs is to be heard and to move on, and being goofy helps with that! I'm looking for a job that gives me consistency and communication. My goal is to ensure parents feel comfortable with the person they are entrusting their children to! I am trained in CPR and First Aid, as well as many other trainings that are necessary for child care workers in Nevada! I have an Associates Degree in Human Development and I am always searching for more ways to grow my mind and become a better caregiver and teacher!
