About Amy

For the past 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. I currently run a microschool that works primarily with homeschoolers helping them to master material and learn new concepts in fun and collaborative way. I vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems to adapt to your individual learning style. I keep you motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and encouraging curiosity through interactive discussions. Communication is key. I provide regular updates to build trust and create a collaborative environment. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a concept clicks and seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I am comfortable working with students of all ages, from elementary school to college. I can help with English, Science, Test Preparation, Study Skills, and History.
