About Amy

Hello! My name is Amy. I have worked with kids for 10 years; primarily in preschool programs. I was also a founding staff member at a summer camp for children up to 17 years old, and have worked as a nanny. Am happy to follow a homeschooling curriculum and create new content as well. I have a B. A. in Fine Art, experience with Brain Gym to support focus, 200 hr yoga teacher training, am a community herbalist, and have done a permaculture design course. I enjoy engaging a child's curiosity in nature, and creativity with the arts and storytelling. I can offer support in the humanities, languages, arts, and basic math. I offer encouragement, inquiry, and a caring presence. I hope to have enriching encounters and be a positive role model as I support their growth. I'll listen to learn about their unique qualities and find ways to honor their temperament and personality. I value finding ways to make the student's education relatable to the world and their interests.
