About Amy

Hello! I am available for up to 15 hours a week of childcare. My name is Amy. I have worked with kids for the past 13 years, as a nanny, lead teacher in infant, toddler, and preschool programs, and with older kids in summer camps. I've learned from many alternative and earth based philosophies such as Waldorf, Montessori, Contemplative, and Reggio Emilia. I feel honored to get to spend time with your most treasured loved ones, and tend to their safety & growth with utmost care. I'll listen to learn about their unique qualities, and aim to cultivate enriching experiences. I enjoy engaging curiosity in nature, and being creative through the arts, storytelling, and play. I value nature-connection, healthy food, music-making, limited screen-time. I'm comfortable with pets and have a reliable car. Happy to prepare meals and do light housekeeping.
