I was a stay at home mom for 16 years with my triplet girls. During that time I helped with my father who had dementia, so that he could comfortably stay in his own home with my mom. For three years I was an in home caregiver to a stroke survivor who recently passed. I do laundry, prepare light meals, bathe, help with personal needs, give medication, drive to appointments, and provide compassionate care and companionship. Willing to take your loved one on outings such as to the mall, movies or hairdresser. I'm looking for approximately 35 - 40 hours per week but will consider other based on your needs. Non-smoker. Comfortable with pets. Experience with dementia, stroke and hospice. My goal is to make your loved one comfortable and happy and to be able to stay in their own home. References available.
