About Amy

Amy cared for my two children from babies to grade school. She is the BEST. THING. to happen to our family. The best way to share her review is to share the thank you note we wrote to her when her tenure with us was done. Amy completed her work with us only because the children grew up. I cannot recommend her enough. "It’s hard to find the right words to tell you how much you mean to our family. We are grateful for your kindness, reliability, tenacity, flexibility, patience, enthusiasm and energy, humor, adventurousness, generosity and your big heart! You are not just our nanny; you are our friend, problem-solver, creator of fun (and structure!), a parenting partner, and a superhero. More than all that though, having you as part of our children's team was such a huge influence on how our children are growing and developing. They are turning into little people and really good little people because of your influence! You have helped them with boundaries and body space, with manners, with imagination and creation, with learning, with listening, and with celebrating being themselves. For me, personally, you have allowed me to maintain balance in my own life! Knowing you are with the kids allows me to relax and totally focus on work. You love our children without making us feel replaced. You communicate with us so we always feel like we are a part of the day. You are our family hero, and part of our family team! (Teamwork makes the dream work! And I feel like I’m living my dream come true and you’ve helped make that happen!) I know that every moment of everyday does not live up to the dream! But we hope the joyful moments you share with the kids make up for the challenges!
