Hi! I'm Amy and I have worked people with Intellectual and developmental disabilities. individually with adults with intellectual disabilities. I am sincerely passionate about the IDD population. I have a person centered approach. I'd describe my personality as upbeat, funny and compassionate. I'm looking for a job that has a routine schedule if possible. I enjoy being out in the community and assisting people with their goals and needs-giving them more independence. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dogs and hike. I also enjoy cooking and independent films. One thing you should know about me is Im a big kidder yet take my job very seriously. Most importantly, I like to assist my clients so that they reach their goals and navigate challenges. My skills include patience, taking initiative, and responsiblility. I have a very good driving record and enjoy being a team member. I should note that I have ADD and I can struggle with comprehension.
