About Amy

Hi-I'm Amy! I have 22 years of experience; I fell in love for babysitting at a young age. I began caring for family, friends, neighbors and through referrals. I have extensive experience from newborn to 16 years old, caring for multiples (twins, triplets) and special needs care. In high school, I worked as a childcare supervisor at a nearby fitness center, where I provided childcare for clients varying in age from 6 weeks to 13 years old. In addition, I was a swim instructor through the Round Lake Park District for five years instructing 100+ children, ages 12 months to 12 years, in swimming classes (varying in levels). While pursing my undergraduate degree I assisted teaching in a multicultural preschool at Purdue University, working with 2 - 5-year-old children, and engaged students in exercises for the development of linguistic ability and interpersonal skills.
