About Amy

Hi! My name is Amy! I'm very passionate about working with young children (0-5)! I enjoy engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and taking them outside to play! Arts and crafts & sensory bins are fun to do on rainy days, or not so rainy days too! I have my bachelors degree in child and family development, a graduate level certificate called the EC-SEBRIS (early childhood socio-emotional behavior regulation intervention specialist certificate), as well as my masters in child development all from San Diego State University. I am a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula as well as a Newborn Care Specialist. I have worked with children of all ages ranging from newborns and on up to teens (with most of my experience working with infants and toddlers). I taught preschool as a toddler for a year and a half. I have nannied for families with twins, multiples, and done nanny shares before so I am comfortable working with multiple young children at a time. References available!
