About Amy

I am a former elementary school teacher, as well as a degree Special Education. As a mom of 2 older kiddos, I understand the joys and day-to-day rhythms of caring for young children. Over the past several years, I've been a dedicated stay-at-home mom, giving me hands-on experience in everything from developmental milestones to creating fun, engaging, and educational activities. My teaching background allows me to combine nurturing care with enriching learning opportunities. I approach childcare with patience, creativity, and consistency. I believe in fostering kindness, curiosity, and confidence in the children I care for, and I value open communication with families to ensure their needs and values are honored. I'm comfortable supporting children with diverse learning and feeding needs. Outside of work, I'm a gardener, nature enthusiast who enjoys yoga, biking, traveling, reading and time by the ocean. I provide a safe, joyful, and enriching environment where children can thrive.
