About Amy

I am a retired professional educator who relocated to Colorado via Texas and Indiana. I taught third grade for 13 years, raised two amazing sons and my husband and I have just celebrated 35 years of marriage. I am a Christian. I do not smoke. I love to cook and I specialize in teaching all levels of swimming from infants to senior adults. I hold a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and I love to read, sing songs and converse with little ones. Everything in the day is part of an infant's education. I also believe in free play where I set the "stage" and allow the child to explore, problem solve and experience different toys and areas on their own. i. e crawling under kitchen tables, playing with pots & pans, exchanging toys frequently for different experiences.
