My teaching philosophy is that every child can learn. Each child has their own unique skills and interests, and as their teacher, my job will be to strengthen those skills and to empower them to confidently grow in the areas which they may struggle. As a licensed teacher in Early Childhood Education and Mild to Moderate Disabilities, I specialize in Math, English, Science, History, and Special Education. I prioritize the child and my relationship with them because I know children learn best when they feel safe and supported to do hard tasks. I tailor my teaching to each child by using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples in a child's unique interests to make complex concepts fun and achievable. I also maintain clear, consistent communication with families to ensure we are always working as a collaborative team. I am excited to help your child reach their learning goals!
