About Amy

Nurturing a child's growth and development is my passion. I am a senior in college studying Psychology with the goal of becoming a teacher. I have three years of experience working with children of all ages. I have worked as a teacher assistant at a school, where I supported children with special needs and small-group activities, academics, and daily routines. I have also worked as a lead teacher in a daycare, creating lesson plans, leading activities and providing a safe positive and engaging environment. I have First Aid and CPR training and Early Child Development coursework. I am patient, caring, responsible, creative, and dependable. I enjoy educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, and imaginative play. I am happy to help with homework, meals, light housekeeping, carpooling and swimming supervision. I respect each family's routines and parenting style. My goal is to make every child feel safe, supported, valued, and excited to learn and grow.
