About Amy

Hi, I'm Amy! I'm in my mid 30s and currently a stay at home mom for my 2-year-old little boy. I discovered my love for working with children when I was hired as an environmental educator at a nature center right outside Portland, OR. I worked with kids 3-5 at our nature preschool (2 teachers to 11 children), and 6-11 throughout our summer camps. Now that we've returned to Rochester, I'm hoping to become a trustworthy caregiver for a local family. Since I do have a little one of my own, I would need to have approval from the family to either bring him along with me or pick up the child needing care to bring over to our home. I love getting kids outside to explore and embrace their natural curiosity. I also have access to plenty of educational materials, and lots of craft supplies.
