About Amy
Experience: 15 yrs
15 years of experience caring for children has solidified my desire to positively impact their lives. I have a diverse background, including: Summer Camp Counselor (3 years) Montessori Classroom Assistant (2 years) International Teaching Experience in a Japanese elementary school (3 years) I have worked with children from 3 months to 17 years old. While my preference is for younger children, I enjoy working with all age groups. I offer a patient and calm approach to childcare, living by the philosophy that a child is capable of great things and I am there to guide them and ensure their safety. I hold a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Psychology. I love engaging children in arts and crafts and reading together. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and always follow the parents' lead regarding household rules
