About Amy

From the first smile to the last diaper and beyond, I've been there and enjoyed every minute of it. As every child is unique in their needs and abilities, my goal is to understand what those are and to create a fun-loving, nurturing environment where they are comfortable to develop in life through exploration, play and socialization. I do have a elementary schooler myself, adding to vast experience caring for many children over the years, to include special needs children. I am college educated, a teacher, and am infant First Aid/CPR certified. Experienced with homemade baby food, breast milk preparation, formula, and homemade/environmental safe toys, crafts and projects. I have many years of experience with finding just the right technique to comfort a child and reinforce good manners through consistency, compassion and patience.
