I have cared for many kids over the past 32 years, sometimes paid, many times as a volunteer. This includes cousins, nieces, nephews, and many children from church. My husband and I have raised three biological children, fostered seven children (infant to 6 years old), and adopted two of those children. Apart from these experiences, I have taken countless fostering/trauma/behavior/CPR/first-aid classes as a foster parent. I truly believe that children are valuable-- gifts from God-- and I treat them as such. While I have experience with children of all ages, I am especially expert at caring for infants; truly, it is one of my greatest joys. I am a very compassionate, warm, nurturing person. In addition to these child-care strengths, I am a hard worker. I enjoy cleaning and I have a strong attention to detail; I love the satisfaction of a well-cleaned room!
