About Amya

Hi! My name is Amya, I'm 19 years old, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I come from a big family with six younger siblings, and I started helping raise them when I was about 13. From newborns to teens, I've had hands on experience with every age group; feeding, changing, helping with homework, organizing activities, and keeping everyone on a schedule. I'm very patient, and dependable. I genuinely love kids and take pride in creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where they can learn and grow. I enjoy doing creative projects, outdoor play, story time, and anything that sparks a child's imagination. Most recently, I worked with a 2-year-old boy who transitioned from daycare. I helped him adjust by creating daily routines, introducing learning games, and balancing indoor and outdoor activities. I'm passionate about childcare because I understand how important it is for kids to feel cared for, supported, and understood.
