About Amya

I've cared for many pets in my 23 years of life, including birds, fish, cats, and a variety of dog breeds. That time has taught me that every pet has specific needs and sensitivities, which deserve to be attended to at all times. I grew up around dogs and cats, and began raising my own cat at the age of 8. I helped her deliver 2 healthy litters of kittens and currently provide her with prescription pet food for her urinary issues. I have experience giving medicine to dogs and cats, but prefer the sole caregiver to do it as I find it better for the pet. I'd describe myself as loving, intuitive, and consistent. I like working with animals because I feel a connection to all nature and animals. I love getting to know their different personalities and learning how to care for them the best. One thing you should know about me is I have a degree in Environmental Science In my spare time, I like to read, hike, and write.
