Hi there! My name is Amy, I am 24 years old, and I can be whatever you need me to be! babysitter/nanny housekeeper, home-school teacher, landscape maintenance, technician, dog walker, personal chef, grocery shopper/errand runner, home office administrator, the possibilities are nearly limitless! I have an extensive background in childcare, house and pet sitting, cleaning, and organization. I can provide references specific to each of these jobs, so you can feel confident in my skills and my character. I find great joy in helping people, and I would love to make your life a little easier! I work full time as an office manager at a local wholesale seed company, and I am looking for temp/part-time jobs to supplement my regular income. I graduated from George Fox University in 2013 with a degree in English Education, and Studio Art. I am a creative writer, experienced vocalist, and amateur photographer. As a child, I wanted to be a teacher, and my passion for children is still very strong. I believe it is important to encourage children to be creative and imaginative as they learn the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful adults. My primary career goal is to find work that allows me to work directly with children and families in a meaningful way. I've been babysitting since I was about 12, and was a regular for many families over the years. I've also been a swim teacher for 9 years, which brings its own unique set of challenges. I volunteered at the church where I grew up for many years, supervising and leading childcare services and kids camp activities around the northwest. I am very organized, and I enjoy cleaning and organizing. I also love to cook, especially for others. I have an affinity for animals, especially dogs. I've also held several office jobs that required intense organizational makeovers, which I tackled head-on with no fear. I keep a lot of lists, and I try to work as efficiently as possible.
