I have over 20 years of experience teaching and nurturing children. I raised two daughters and taught at the elementary level for 6 years. I ran my own daycare and after school program as well as owned two after school arts programs, taught creative writing and worked as a reading instructor. Children are wonderful! I have had jobs working with adults but now I am interested in working with children again. I am a warm and caring care provider. I find children to be amazing and enjoy providing a caring, safe atmosphere where they can explore and learn. I love reading to children and facilitating their learning and nurturing.

Amy watched our 3 month old son for 5 months when I went back to work and before his daycare spot opened up. We also had grandparents who wanted to help - so the schedule was anywhere from 2-4 days per week, 9-4pm. Amy was flexible and dependable for however many days we needed her each week - which we coordinated ahead of time but was also a lot of moving pieces. She was wonderful with our son who absolutely loved her. When I worked from home I often heard her doing music and songs with him. I also got to know Amy throughout that time and can vouch that she’s a kind person. Would absolutely recommend Amy for infant childcare.
