About Amy

We have loved having Amy as our nanny for the past nine months. We hired Amy when our son was about 6 months old to watch him consistently for a couple of days a week, while we adjusted to both parents going back to work full-time. She has truly become one of his favorite people. Amy is reliable, gentle, and a great problem solver. I have been able to rely on her to help prepare healthy meals and keep a close eye on my child while he is learning to feed himself, which is huge. She is kind and gentle with my child, modeling and verbally teaching him how to express himself in a healthy way. I also overhear the way she reads stories to him, and let me tell you, she's a great storyteller and makes it a truly interactive experience. She has also diligently supported our family with tasks related to the baby, such as folding laundry, washing his dishes, and helping wash my pump parts. Of course, she has fit in well with our family and been so patient with our large puppy (when she's around). As a first-time mom, it was very helpful to have her support both with my child's physical well-being, and with mine emotionally, as she's offered so much valuable wisdom as a mom herself. And, of course, she never made me feel judged for being on the journey of figuring it all out (or the countless naps I took when I wasn't getting great sleep). Her compassion for others comes through in her work, and I am grateful for all my son has learned from her as a caregiver. Hire her!
