About Ami

Hi, my name is Ami and I am currently an Elementary School teacher. I love working with children, and I love outdoor activities! Over the years I have had various babysitting opportunities to care for children who ranged in ages from birth-15. These included summer positions, date nights, and even overnight stays. During high school, I taught a preschool class that consisted of children from ages three to five. I was able to create and lead lessons, as well as observe the development of each student. At school I played for the Women's Soccer team, volunteered an average of three days a week in after school programs, and I was part of an academic based organization. I describe myself as caring, empathetic and outgoing with a passion to make a difference in children's lives!
