About Amiya

I am Amiya! I am a senior in high school at Pantego Christian Academy! I am also 18! I have babysat for my aunt and uncle and some family friends! I work at Camp Thurman, with kids of all ages! I love children and would love to help out if I can:) Becoming a caregiver was a natural step after many positive babysitting experiences. I found great joy in those roles and hope to positively impact children's lives. For the past two years, I've cared for children aged 4-12+. My approach is patient and calm. I'm also friendly, and approachable. I provide regular updates via text or phone call, and always follow a parent's preferred communication method. I also follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I am trained in CPR and First Aid. It would be a privilege to bring my energy and experience to your family.
