About Amiya

Greetings, My name is Amiya, I am a 24-year-old college graduate with a degree in Psychology. I currently work as a Mental Health Facilitator in the Special Education Department at a school in Philadelphia; I'm deeply passionate about supporting and nurturing children of all abilities. I also have my certification as a RBT and have over 4 years of experience working with autism! In addition to my professional background, I nannied for five years during undergrad, allowing me to gain valuable hands-on experience with children of various ages! This fall, I will be pursuing a Masters Degree in Speech-Language- Pathology, where I hope to continue my journey of working with children of all abilities. I bring a calm, patient, and energetic approach to caregiving. I strive to create safe, fun, and supportive environment for all children to thrive in! I'm committed to creating a positive and engaging environment where children feel supported, confident, and cared for!
