I'm a Newborn Care Specialist, working on being able to support families as a labor and postpartum doula. I'm also a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. I've been a professional nanny since 2012. I began my journey to becoming an NCS in 2020 with live trainings through Newborn Care Solutions. Since then, each year I've supported several families overnight as they have navigated the rewarding but exhausting journey of introducing newborns into their families. I have attended the NCS Enrichment conference the last two years, have done several trainings to better understand oral ties in infants, and taken a lactation training. My goal is to best support families to get the rest they need during the newborn phase, and help parents to feel confident in connecting with and caring for their babies. I have experience supporting parents who chest feed, and those who bottle feed. I am knowledgeable in handling, safe storage, and preparation of both human milk & formula.
