About Amirah

I'd describe myself as trustworthy and easygoing. Working with children has always been a passion of mine, and I love that I'm able to turn that passion into my career. It's very heartwarming to watch children learn, grow, and develop their own personalities. I started working with kids around the age of 14, and as I got older I also volunteered at schools helping students with special needs I've worked with children of all ages as young as a newborn and as old as 18 years old. These experiences helped me build patience, understanding, and strong communication skills. In my spare time, I enjoy taking afternoon walks, trying new foods or activities, and finding new meal ideas to make at home. I'm very passionate about the work I do and value honesty and open communication. I take pride in creating a safe, supportive environment for children and building trusting relationships with both kids and parents. My strengths include patience, and understanding each child's needs.
