About Amira

Hi! I'm Amira-born and raised in NY, now based in sunny San Diego. I've cared for kids of all ages, including infants, children on the spectrum, and kids with autoimmune conditions and allergies (something I personally relate to). I have a psychology degree and over a decade of experience-from YMCA camp and babysitting in high school to being a counselor at a sleepaway camp for kids with Crohn's and Colitis. I've worked with families of up to five kids and love bringing creativity, calm, and fun into each day. I'm a full-time event planner, so being detail-oriented and proactive is second nature. I love crafting, playing music, being outside, and making space for each child's personality to shine. I'm traveling to Spain solo this July and hoping to earn some extra spending money doing what I genuinely love-helping families thrive.
