About Ami

I've been a caregiver since I was 16, nearly 20 years caring for children and older adults, and I truly love it. I'm a mom of five, a Certified Home Health Aide with CPR and First Aid, and I'm finishing my psychology degree. Senior care: I've been a full-time personal care assistant and household manager for an elderly client. I'm experienced with stroke recovery, dementia and Alzheimer's, and clients who are paralyzed or bedbound. I'm skilled with Hoyer lifts, transfers, bathing, incontinence and bowel care, medication reminders, meals, and appointments. Child care: My first job was nannying, and I've nannied off and on ever since. I help with homework, pickups, meals, activities, and routines, with patient, positive guidance. Whether I'm caring for your child or your parent, my goal is for them to feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for, and for you to have someone you can trust.
