First Aid, CPR, & medication admin. 17 years of Early Childhood Development classes. Lead teacher for 7 yrs in licensed center, 10+ years in licensed home daycare & foster homes, 4 yrs as a nanny, 44 years babysitting. Yearly background checks since 1999. Current background check on file 10/2024. 
I do not care for sick children to limit the transmission of illnesses. You'll need back up care for sick days and bad weather days. I do not provide transportation for children.

Amie has watched our 2 year-old daughter several times now.  She is responsible, patient, knowledgeable, and very trustworthy.  We are always able to have a great time out knowing that our daughter is in good hands.  Our daughter recently named one of her dolls after Amie because she enjoys her so much!

It is clear when you first meet Amie that she is an experienced caregiver. Our one year old was going through a stage where she didn't like new people. Aime was so patient with her and took things slowly. She made me feel very confident that our baby was in great hands. She also sent me updates to let me know how things were going and did some light housework while our baby was sleeping. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Amie has been more than what I could have asked for in a babysitter.  The best way I can describe Amie is she is a real-life, modern-day Mary Poppins.  She is practically perfect in every way.  Amie is calm even under pressure.  She understands Every aspect of babies/toddler/children schedules, feeding, language, play activity.  You name it.  Amie probably has good insight into child situation because Amie comes with a lifetime of experiences in child care.  Of which, this knowledge has been invaluable for our family/our first daughter (now 1 year old).  Amie, not only, takes over care of our daughter seamlessly which our daughter is comfortable with and enjoys.  But Amie is good with scheduling, always reliable and on time.  Plus, Amie is good with our two dogs.  Lets them stay out of kettle, will open back door to let go to bathroom and feed them treats for good behavior.  I can not say enough good things about Miss Amie.   We highly recommend her!

Amie is the most dependable person I have ever worked with. She currently cares for my 1 year old daughter, who absolutely adores her! Amie is always so helpful and goes above and beyond my needs. I am so lucky I found her. And with my crazy work schedule and being a single mom, she continues to be flexible and does her best to make sure my daughter is cared for. I trust Amie more than anyone. She really brings a lot into my daughters life and is genuinely the best nanny you could ever ask for!

Amie cared for my two daughters from 1 month old to 3 years old beginning January of 2013 until November 2015.  Amie is very sensitive and caring, but also does a terrific job with helping children learn rules and develop in a structured, consistent environment.  She is extremely well versed in early childhood development, and worked to both nurture and teach my girls all day long.  Amie also did a wonderful job with light housekeeping, including laundry and ironing, so I was able to enjoy my days at home with my children.  She also does a great job of choosing nutritious and varied meals.  Amie is intelligent, kind, trustworthy, and perfectly suited to be a nanny for any child.  We are all very sad to move, and I'm sure we'll never find anyone like Amie again!

Amie and I messaged back and forth, and then talked on the phone. She was extremely responsive, and very sweet, polite, and well spoken. Our schedules don't quite match up, but she is still definitely at the top of my list! She seems like a wonderful nanny.
