I specialize in geriatrics, end of life care, Alzheimer's/Dementia, ALS, Parkinson's disease, MS, Ostomy care and diabetes (but not limited to these areas). My hours are flexible and I'm willing to work with families as their needs may grow.

Amie is a pro. We hired her to work with my mom in her final weeks of life, though we didn't know it at the time. I feel incredible lucky that we had such an experienced and wise expert at our side. Amie helped us assess everything from how to address complex skin care issues to what my mom needed to stay comfortable when she could no longer speak. I learned so much (how to flip my mom onto her side using a towel when it was impossible to budge her, how to safely assist her up and down the stairs using a gait transfer belt, and much more). Amie had a more accurate take on what was going on with my mom at each step of the way than her nurses or doctor did. She is intuitive. She was also great at coaxing compliance on meds etc when my mom was difficult. Amie projects ease and expertise all while being fun to be around. My mom really enjoyed her time with her. And my entire family is beyond grateful.
