About Amia

Hi! I'm a responsible, patient, and energetic caregiver with experience working with children of many ages. I'm currently a swim instructor and regularly care for groups of four or more children, from infants to early high school. This role has helped me become comfortable switching between calm, nurturing care and fun, high-energy engagement. I have experience with bottle feeding, nap schedules, soothing routines, and toddler care, as well as reading, crafts, and imaginative activities for older children. I also babysit children of different ages at the same time, including a1-year-old and an8-year-old, and I confidently manage multiple needs while keeping children safe and supported. I am reliable, patient under pressure, and attentive to each child's needs. I have a reliable car and prefer early mornings and evenings, though I will try to make arrangements work when possible. I truly enjoy creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children.
