About Ami

I'm a creative, experienced childcare professional with more than 20 years of nanny experience caring for children from toddlerhood through the teen years, including children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and other special needs. I have a background in Child Development and Montessori education, and as an artist, I love bringing creativity into childcare through arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading, music, outings, and hands-on learning. In 2019, I stepped away from childcare to become the full-time caregiver for my husband as he battled serious lung disease. Following his passing in February 2026, I'm now returning to childcare occasionally. I enjoy being the childcare professional parents can call when they need someone experienced, dependable, warm, and genuinely engaged with their children. Whether it's a date night, busy weekend, or a few hours of extra help, I'd love to bring my years of experience and a little creativity to the time I spend with your kids.
