About Amelie

Hi! I'm Amélie (pronounced Ah-muh-lee), a recent graduate seeking to earn extra money beyond my part-time job as a children's swim teacher and lifeguard. I absolutely adore kids, and I find it incredibly rewarding to care for them, as well as watch them grow, should I have the opportunity to do so over a longer period of time. As a musician and writer, I enjoy integrating music and words into learning activities, regardless of the age group. I've always been drawn to working with younger ages (e. g, infants and toddlers); however, I also highly enjoy working with older kids and preteens, helping them navigate the challenges they face as they grow into themselves. I've been a caregiver for children aged from 3 months to 12 years for multiple families. Duties have included, but were not limited to, assisting with homework, managing housework alongside supervising children's activities, and being responsible for bathing, feeding, and diaper changing.
