About Amelie

Hi! I'm Amelie, I genuinely love kids and have been working with them most of my life. I started babysitting at 12, worked in a daycare from 15 to 17, and went on to nanny two girls, ages 4 and 7, when I was 17 and 18. I currently nanny part-time for a baby boy I've been with since he was 12 months old, and he's now almost 2! Outside of work, I'm a cat mom to three very loved cats, so patience, attentiveness, and a whole lot of care come naturally to me! I grew up in a Waldorf education environment, which gave me a deep appreciation for screen-free, imaginative, and nature-based development. I bring that same thoughtful approach to the children I care for, prioritizing open-ended play, creativity, and real-world connection over screens. I'm CPR certified, have completed coursework in childhood development, and know baby sign language, so I'm equipped to support communication and safety at every stage. Families can feel confident their little ones are in caring, capable hands.
