About Amelie

Hi! I've been babysitting since I was 12, and over the years I've cared for kids of all ages. I've also looked after pets (cats, dogs, snakes, and even fish!) and I'm comfortable juggling the moving parts of a busy household while keeping things calm and safe. I especially enjoy working with slightly older kids around 9 or 10, but I also do great with toddlers and younger children, making sure they're engaged, cared for, and having fun. I completed a babysitting training course when I was younger where I earned my CPR certification and learned how to care for children safely and responsibly. I'm reliable, communicative, and open to overnights on occasion. Above all, I want families to feel like they can fully trust me, that their kids are not only safe but genuinely happy and comfortable in my care. I just moved to Greenpoint this summer, and I'm really excited to have the chance to provide care for this warm and friendly community.
