About Amelia

Hi, I'm Amelia! Although I do not have extensive experience with senior care, I can confidently say I am very passionate about those needing extra support in this period of their life. I often spend 3-10 hours a week helping my senior relatives with basic tasks they cannot perform due to arthritis, the physical or mental strain, etc. I genuinely enjoy offering companionship or company, from light hearted conversations, sharing memories, playing bored or card games, and more. Growing up, I was partially raised by my grandparents, and I find myself consistently referencing advice, stories, and information from them. Furthermore, I am deeply compassionate for those struggling with a mental condition, as my grandfather passed from Alzheimer's, which runs in my family. While I want to clarify I am not certified to help with medication administration, bathing/dressing, or medically supporting those with a condition, I am always open to learn and add experience to my tool kit.
