I have been taking care of children and the elderly for over 20 years. I have also taken care of children with disabilities (autism). I know some ASL, mostly baby sign. I do all aspects of daily living as well as cooking, cleaning, and pet care. I have done in-home care for the elderly. I have also been a live-in nanny. I have a car and current insurance. I am a non-smoker. I currently have infant/ child/adult CPR/AED/First aid certification. I do not smoke. love to teach kids new things and help them to become the best people they can be. I like going to museums and being outdoors with my dog. My hobbies include cooking/baking, reading, crocheting, and beading. Due to health and beliefs I can not be Covid-19 vaccinated. Amelia was amazing with our almost 3 year old. She was extremely reliable, friendly, and easy to work with. She is attentive, and great with kids. We are very picky, and she nailed it. She's also great at multi-tasking, and would leave the house cleaner than she found it even while caring for a toddler. That isn't an easy feat. She offered structure and was an excellent communicator. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caregiver.
