About Amelia

Hi, I'm Amelia a senior psychology major with a concentration in child dev.! My top skills are adaptability, creative engagement, and supporting emotional regulation. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, and patient. I love working with kids because of how curious and imaginative they are-every day feels different, and it's really meaningful to support them as they grow in confidence and discover what excites them. I'm open to a variety of childcare roles including nannying, daycare support, in-home care, and babysitting, and I'm very flexible in adapting to what a family needs. I value clear communication and building a trusting, positive connection with both kids and parents. I started babysitting in high school, later worked as a camp counselor for ages 3-6! In my free time I love music, theatre, running, reading, and creative writing.. I'll only be available for the summer (May-August), but I'm really looking forward to making that time meaningful with a family.
