About Amelia

Hi! My name is Amelia, and I'm a senior in college studying social work. I am a North Canton native, and will be in the area until mid-August. I am looking for a part-time position, but would be willing to work upwards of 20-25 hours a week. I strive to be enthusiastic, proactive, and intentional in all aspects of my life. I spent the last two summers as a counselor at a summer camp in the area and as a church intern in Massachusetts. I have lead groups of kids from a variety of backgrounds and received instruction on the stages of child development and trauma informed practice. I also have my own car and will be getting re-certified in CPR soon. My priority would be to provide a safe and engaging experience, with age-appropriate activities such as crafts, baking, outdoor games, encouraging independent time, and occasional special outings. I am willing to be firm, but also understanding and supportive when it comes to any challenges your child has. I look forward to meeting you!!
