About Amelia

Hi, I'm Amelia! I've been pet-sitting for 8 years, and I've never met an animal I didn't want to get to know. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals: dogs and cats, of course, but also guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, cows, and horses. I've looked after birds and fish too. So whether your pet is a cat, a dog, or a little more unusual, chances are I've met and loved one like them! I volunteer at the Arizona Humane Society, and have completed their fear-free handling training, which is a fancy way of saying I know how to keep animals calm and comfortable, especially the nervous ones. I'm a pet parent myself, so I know how hard it is to leave your best friend with someone else. While you're away, I'll stick to your routines, treat your home with care, and give your pet plenty of attention (and treats, if you say it's okay). I also offer walks, so your dog can get their wiggles out and enjoy some fresh air.
