About Amelia

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. Over the past three years, I have helped elementary, middle, and high school students build confidence and a genuine love for learning. I specialize in Math, English, Science, History, and Study Skills, while also offering instruction in musical instruments and support for students in special education. I assess your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material, then adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating small successes, I keep you motivated and engaged. I believe clear, open communication with both you and your parents is essential for achieving the best outcomes. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you succeed on your academic journey.
